RHCC Policies

Safeguarding Children & Young People

Red Hill Cricket Club is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all Children and Young People who participate in cricket activities and programs, and/or use our facilities. We communicate this commitment through the Australian Cricket’s Statement of Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People.

Red Hill Cricket Club has a dedicated Child Safety Officer, in Megan Musgrave. The Child Safety Officer will be the first point of contact for all safeguarding Children and Young People matters. The Child Safety Officer will champion the child safety message and ensure that we have adopted Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People and that we implements practices and procedures in line with Australian Cricket’s Looking After Our Kids Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs. Megan can be contacted via email at childsafety.rhcc@gmail.com or mobile 0414 926 040.

Red Hill Cricket Club is located on the traditional lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land where we play our game and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of our First Nations people and are committed to the journey of reconciliation.
